2007: EPoS Not as expensive as people think
Computing.co.uk
published an article last year stating that the
owners or small to medium businesses are being put
off by the price of EPoS solutions, with the average
priced solution for a single outlet coming in around
£12,000. As our customers are aware, we have always
pulled against the current in the EPoS industry when
it comes to pricing, and like to give the highest
quality solutions for the best possible prices
rather than the over inflated prices which are
common in the marketplace, meaning our average cost
per venue is somewhere in the region of £6000, even
with our optional support service costing
only £30 per month for the whole site (based on
three tills), remote data backup for the first year,
and broadband for the first year, meaning there's
enough change from the industry standard to get your
fridges, freezers, and part of your kitchen
equipped! Please see our
no
hidden extras policy for information on how our
systems are priced. The original Computing.co.uk
article can be found at

2006: Hospitality Tills expand.
We are pleased to
announce an expansion to the company. We are in the
process of opening a showroom and distribution hub
in Aylesbury to cater for the needs of our London
and Home Counties client base. At present, there's a
bit of work to do, but we aim to have this office
open by mid November |

April 2006:
Swipe
Cards
As our customers will
tell you, and as we have to admit; sourcing operator
swipe cards and loyalty cards has always been a bit
of an issue - not through fault of ours or our
suppliers, but more to do with having to buy
internationally to get a competitive price for our
customers, and the courier blanking them on entry..
We've now killed this issue by purchasing the
equipment to write the cards internally, thus saving
us the problem in the future. |

2006:
Increased Range
Hospitality Tills are
pleased to announce that we have recently added four
new terminals to our range. The terminals from
PosLigne, combined with an excellent warranty are
rapidly becoming hot sellers, in particular the
PosTouch 301, which is giving customers a PC based
terminal for the price of a non-PC based touch
terminal. |

February 2006:
Finally Up!
We are pleased to tell
our customers that we are back on to our home web
server. After two weeks (which feels like a
lifetime), 1and1 have finally reset our account and
given read access to our customers, meaning the site
can be moved back home.
We would like to thank
all customers for tolerating the slow access speeds
to our site during this time and would like to
reassure you that we are now fully operational. |

February 2006:
Site Upgrades
Two new sections of
our site are available to customers - well,
actually, they've been there for a while, but due to
the web hosting issues we've experienced
unfortunately publicising them has been the lowest
priority. Testimonials can be found
here. Existing customers can access manuals,
drivers and advice relating to your system
here. |

February 2006:
Paper, Ink, Wires and Keys
Due to customer
feedback and demand, Hospitality Tills are pleased
to announce that we have now taken stock of our
first batch of consumables. Thermal Roll, Kitchen
Printer paper, Ink, Dallas Keys, Swipe Cards, and a
selection of extension cables and such like can now
be supplied same day to customers in the Cardiff
region and next day to customers across the UK. We
intend to supply till roll and PDQ rolls in either
full boxes (usually 20 rolls), or if you need a
smaller quantity, by the quarter-box. We intend to
integrate this in to an on line ordering mechanism
as soon as our web site is back on line. This will
involve a Paypal transaction until such time as we
have integrated LloydsTSB Cardnet. |

February 2006: Web Site Problems
Unfortunately due to issues beyond our control, the
migration by our web providers is not complete, and
as a result of this we have found that, among other
things, contact forms are not working on our site
and also our sister site pubepostrainer.co.uk is
down completely. We apologise for the inconvenience
caused to our customers, and promise that we will be
working as fast as possible to factor a resolution
with 1and1. |

February 2006: Web Site Upgrade
Due to both increased
demand on the Hospitality Tills web site, and also
the desire to bring our customers such things as
online project management tools, up to date stock
lists, and also pricing of our systems; we intend up
migrate our web space from the current Linux server
on to a Microsoft based server running extensions
which allow us to provide these services. This may
mean a small disruption to the service in the short
term, but in the long term allows us to cater more
to our customer's needs. |

pricing structure. |
